Clarabridge has rolled out what is being described as the industry’s first self service text analytics software.
Clarabridge’s natural language processing technology was previously available only to Fortune 500 corporations, but Clarabridge Self Service makes it available for all via an easy-to-use online portal. Pricing starts at 15 cents per verbatim and the programme includes up to 1,000 free verbatims per month.
The offering combines sophisticated natural language processing, automatic classification and customisable sentiment analysis.
The self service text analytics software allows users to upload and analyse their text-based data. It organises pieces of text into categories, determines positive and negative sentiments, identifies emerging issues, and allows for search, reporting, and analysis.
According to Reston, Virginia-based Clarabridge, any textual information, along with any associated structured data storable in a Microsoft Excel file can be uploaded to Clarabridge. Once the data is uploaded, Clarabridge’s sophisticated technology automatically:
• “Reads” the text linguistically and enables ad-hoc searching and filtration;
• Categorises the text at detailed sub-document, sentence, and clause level;
• Identifies various positive and negative sentiments and what they relate to;
• Enables analysis of topics and sentiments, emerging issues and trends, and;
• Allows for drill down to the original text to understand any areas of interest.
Citing an example, the company says: If you have a dataset of survey responses, customer feedback, product reviews, social media posts, or any other information in textual form, along with a comment date, and some demographics about the authors or respondents, Clarabridge can quickly allow you to analyse the text, which would otherwise take days or weeks of manual reading and analysis.
