CDM Media ties up with Open Text

Open Text has chosen to share its resources with B2B media company CDM Media’s healthcare community.
 
All new Open Text content management resources will be found in a custom solution center hosted by CDM Media.
 
The center features whitepapers, case studies, brochures, podcasts and videos on healthcare content management solutions.  The content on the solution center will be updated frequently.
 
It will include pertinent information on content management solutions for IT executives. For instance, one of the white papers on the site highlights that by supporting the unstructured content aspects of a business, adding a robust metadata structure, and marrying patient-related content in other systems, an organisation can improve the effectiveness of overall patient care. Open Text supports the content and data associated with patient medical histories with a keen focus of the capture of paper records and the creation of appropriate taxonomies to search and retrieve historical patient records.
 
Another section features a video that focuses on the approach that Mayo Health Systems took when managing their unstructured content in conjunction with their electronic medical record (EMR) system. The company has explained why it needed an enterprise wide content management system and what was learned and achieved.
 
CDM Media will also host a live and interactive webinar about getting the most from EMR/ electronic health record (EHR) solutions on March 30.
